Open Konsole Here service menu

The service menu Open Konsole Here opens the selected path either within the current or a new Kdialog session without opening a new window. When more windows are already open there is the chance to choose between the first or the last instance or select any of them.

Main Features

• Once installed it's available for Dolphin, KFind results, Konqueror and Krusader;
• Can open the selected folder in the current or in a new Konsole session;
• If more Konsole windows are open can choose between the first or last instance;
• Since the v.1.3.0 can be also selected one of the opened Konsole windows, not necessarily the first or the last.

Installation

From the Dolphin interface

1. From Dolphin press the keys Ctrl + Shift + , or select the menu item Configure Dolphin;
2. Click on the side tab Services;
3. In the right panel click the Download new services button;
4. Insert the search phrase open_konsole_here in the textbox at the right side and press the Enter key;
5. Once the data is lodaded click on the Install button.

Using the servicemenuinstaller utility

1. Download the archive open_konsole_here-1.3.1.tgz from one of the KDE Store/Opendesktop/Pling pages;
2. Install:

   $ servicemenuinstaller install open_konsole_here-1.3.1.tgz
   

3. Uninstall:

   $ servicemenuinstaller uninstall open_konsole_here-1.3.1.tgz
   

From the tar archive

1. Extracting the Archive:

   $ tar -xvf open_konsole_here-1.3.1.tgz 
   

2. Switching to the subfolder:

   $ cd open_konsole_here
   

3. Install:

   $ make install
   

4. Uninstall:

   $ make uninstall
   

From openSUSE Build Service

$ sudo zypper ar https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/FabioMux/15.5/home:FabioMux.repo
$ sudo zypper in 'open_konsole_here'
